Installation — VPS / dedicated server

Self-hosted buyers only: This page explains how to install the purchased Calbok package on your own server. Hosted Calbok customers do not need these steps. Visit the hosted Calbok site instead.

Same as above, except:

1. Point Nginx/Apache at {root}/public.
2. You may use CACHE_STORE=redis and QUEUE_CONNECTION=redis for better performance under high load.
3. Run Supervisor with php artisan queue:work --tries=3 instead of (or in addition to) the cron-driven one-shot worker.
4. All other steps (.env, migrations, web installer, cron) are identical.
